Hey ya! Well its another blustery day here in Sydney. The expected hurricane finally blew in last night and ruined our plans to tour a cruiseship in sydney harbour today. I guess it couldnt make it in due to the weather...dissapointing, but i guess this just means im going to have to go on a cruise if i want to see a ship..which doesnt sound like too bad a plan to me or steven. :)
We're having a grand time here (as you can see we've also been having fun playing with my new camera built into my computer:)..Yesterday I went with steven to his simulator class and watched him do his thing on the computers and radio etc. It was pretty fun, it actually looks more dificult and stressful than i thought it was. He's doing really well though.. I can't believe how fast this week is going! In no time at all it will be next tuesday morning, and i'll be tearfully saying goodbye while trying to remember that I'm heading out on a wonderful adventure, and that leaving steven here for another 3 months will not be the end of the world. Im so excited to see my brothers and friends next week in Germany...It still almost seems surreal.
Ohh Hey Chel: Yeah I know it will be difficult because there are so many of us traveling. but i thought if maybe just a cupple of us wanted to try it out while we're all staying in the same area, it might be fun. We'll see. Any progress on the Ireland or not Ireland debate??? Have you been in contact at all with Shandell or anna? They havent emailed me in quite awhile.
Not too much else to update on..I dont think we'll be getting away this weekend due to the fact that we cannot rent a car and the bus will take us about 1000 hours and 100 dollars to get anywhere we want to go. But i'll let you know if any more adventures arise.

hey kait you two are so cute!! glad your having fun my room is almost set up we have the crib and dresser in it now. just have to find spots for everything. i'm still getting my referances put together about the dts it really depends on the money since we don't have enough but mom says if its ment to be the money will come. i'll ttyl love and miss you

hey Kait, great to hear you're having a good time!
Chels finished up an itenerary and faxed it to us today, we decided on Ireland because we have a free place to stay. WE have it down for five days, but of course that can change...
the only problem with the itenerary as it is now is there is a LOT of travelling. I think we need to make sure we're super-flexible... hit the places we REALLY want to see, but be willing to sacrifice some of the more minor locations in favour of more time in some of the better ones.
It'll be great to just play it by ear... I can't wait til we're sitting in a hostel chatting about where we want to go the next day.

oh, PS, Chels and Jonny and I thought it would be cool to take turns with the Travel Blog (this one) once we start travelling. It will make for a cool read once we're done, seeing all of our perspectives as we travel... If you're into that, of course.
and I also upgraded my Flickr account to Pro, so now I can upload as many pictures as I want at any time, which will be really handy when we're traveling.
Also, Jonny and I might buy a small digital camera, like a little sony or Canon. Good idea or not? I am bringing my big one, but it might be nice to have a second....

It is good to see you and Steven together! It makes my heart all warm and happy! So good. I fixed my blog so that I can get comments again (I think) cause apparently it was broken. So now we can look in on each other AND comment. :)
